World upon world, one after another: We seek out secrets for the love of mystery and killing it with answers. Set sights on strange lands. Look to the new frontier and say "mine." Conquer frontiers. Continue discovering, claiming, destroying until we find a new frontier that talks back. A frontier that says "I don't belong to you. You can't explore me. My secrets are mine to give to those I choose. I am my own mystery and you cannot answer me"

Take me to Mata Nui I want to fall apart There’s no telling which direction we are going Conclusions are only accurate if you let them control your life

He had peace, he had prosperity, and he pissed it all away because he wanted people to remember him tall. That’s what stories do, princess...they show us a precipice and tell us it’s a meadow. Still a fighter, I see. You left the battle behind you, and everything else with it...but you can never leave that. You’ll always fight

In my dreams, I saw a castle that covered the world! That sea of towering stone that touched every horizon brought with it the promise of prosperity! The young were promised a future and the old were promised security! The castle is a promise! A home for every wayward soul! No war, for all the world is not only one nation, but one house! Unity is our key to paradise! The old Empire broke for a reason, and today, we scrounge and suffer among the shards, wallowing beneath the supposed authority of hollow crowns! We have no need of empires! No need of kings! Let us break down the borders, tear down the castles and the cities, and in their place build one stronghold for all people! One home for all the world!

He was a little man with a big mouth. Seen it countless times. He never pillaged or raided like in the stories, either. His army was small. His land was peaceful. When I met him, he was almost pleasant. But he needed to feel big, and he needed everyone else to think he was big. That was what killed him. A roaming war party heard the stories of the Skull Collector and wanted to test their might. They laid waste to his lands, slaughtered his people, and the mighty Tezunak hid in his fortress until they broke down the doors and mounted hi head on a stake. It wasn’t long before he became yet another skull decorating his lands

I’m inert, a mere serf, a vassal, a plebeian I sit in the underbelly of this feudal land Give me the best line to reach you in the hours past 30 My hands are consistently dirty or so I’m told

I won’t blame you if you hate me. My job as a father and as a leader isn’t to be liked. It’s to make my people strong. I already lost one war. I gave years to the fight. Sacrificed the lives of my troops And in the end, we packed up and went home, accomplishing nothing. A soldier who can’t win wars is useless. I can’t imagine a worse hell than obsoletion. If I can spare you from that, make you strong enough, then I can at least be a better father than I was a soldier. A war will come in your time. A way always comes. I don’t care if you live or die, but on my soul, you will not lose

Our psyches are enacted Twice born, disappeared once, then return Everything is red, violet, and brown We found our new sound Don’t replace it any time soon I’m trying to find her Submerged in water or another vacuous liquid

Twenty years sleeping on cold, hard ground, enough scars and broken bones for twelve lifetimes, loneliness, and self-loathing...these things catch up to you rather quickly once you finally stop running. Once the confusion of dreams is cleared away, you can take any form that represents you. I would call that younger man my greatest self, but he was a fool…so many mistakes ahead of him. And the form I took after...so calloused and cold. He was a fool too, in a different way. So much forgotten. So hungry for redemption, even though he didn’t realize it. But...this mind in that young body...well, you saw. Something is coming

For so long, the Dreamworld has been like a gloved hand, touching our world, our lives, but never truly making contact. The glove is slipping. I can sense it when I dream. Some force on the other side is trying to get through. Guard your dreams. I know not what machinations are in motion within the Dreamworld, but if I had to find a way through to our world...I would go through the eyes of a dreamer
